AHU Appreciation Nite at the Arizona Coyotes is Thursday, 3/24/2016.  We have also been granted a 50/50 raffle that night to raise funds for the teams that participate.  We need 30 volunteers to sell raffle tickets and you will be given a game ticket to attend the game.  We have set up a DIBS to have volunteers sign up for so we can ensure we have enough to cover the event.  All money raised will be distributed to the teams that provides volunteers.

Details about the event are listed below.  Please use the link below to sign up through DIBS.

Thank you for your willingness to participate in the 50/50 raffle fundraiser for the organization! In order to prepare for the night, please ensure you carefully read the below information and should you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.  Be ready for a fun, energetic night of fundraising for a great cause.  It is the easiest and most fun “selling” you will ever do! We look forward to seeing you on your assigned night!

  1. While you may have participated in the 5050 raffle before, there may be instructions and new rules we give slightly different than you have had in the past so be prepared for changes and to help wherever needed.
  2. If you are 18+ you must be willing to sell on your own, not in necessarily in pairs. We have an opportunity for 16 sellers, which won’t allow for everyone to pair up and we want to maximize the opportunity for your organization to raise money by spreading out around the arena.
  3. Under 18 are welcome, encouraged and great to attract buyers J. You will be paired up with a seller.
  4. Discounted tickets for family and guests not selling tickets will be available for purchase based on availability and no later than one week before game day. Inquire for more information.
  5. Volunteers may opt to park for free in our employee parking lot the night of the game- located at the Tanger Outlet Mall Lot X (see attached map). Attendants will be aware of your organization name to allow you in. Volunteers also have the option to pay normal fees to park closer to the stadium, but prices vary depending on location.
  6. Wear comfortable shoes and be ready to walk around for the entire duration of the game (2-3 hours).
  7. All volunteers must arrive 2 hours prior to the start of the game to Gate 1 (southwest corner) at the Arena for training. Once through security, remain in the main gate area as your group arrives. You must be at the arena gate no later than 4pm/5pm (depending on 6pm/7pm start time) and also able to stay through the entire game until the 3rd period. If your game day falls on a weekday, understand there will be lots of traffic, so take that into account for arrival time as well as the 15 minutes to walk from the assigned parking lot.
  8. We recommend matching shirts or wearing things that stand out to highlight your organization. (No other sports team’s clothing/headwear/memorabilia may be worn. Should anyone arrive dressed in such they will be required to change or will be escorted out of the arena)
  9. You will be trained on our electronic 50/50 system and will be provided Arizona Coyotes Foundation 50/50 signs. Do not worry about the electronic system, if you are familiar with smart phones, you can easily manage our handhelds!
  10. Volunteers will be both selling at kiosks and by walking around the arena – there are no chairs so volunteers need to come prepared to walk around or stand for at least 3 hours. We do have 4 kiosk locations- so only 4 individuals will have the chance to not walk around as much. Please speak with your volunteer organizer should you have concerns.
  11. It can be chilly, so you may want to bring a jacket!
  12. After volunteers check their money in at the beginning of the 3rd period, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of the game (not required). Tickets will be provided to volunteers as long as the game is NOT a sell-out. If it is a sell-out, you will be able to watch the game from standing room only areas.
  13. Food and beverage is available for purchase at all of our concession locations within the arena.
  14. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed during the raffle selling. Once volunteers have completed their duties and are off to watch the game, they are welcome to make their own decisions.
  15. Any volunteers not complying with rules/requests of the 50/50 staff will be immediately escorted out of the arena. Please keep in mind that you are representing both your organization and the Arizona Coyotes Foundation when you volunteer. Should you fail to comply with the rules, you will be hindering the opportunity for the group to fundraise and may jeopardize your organization’s ability to participate in the future.
