AHU Players & Families:
As a not for profit organization, we generate operating revenues from tournaments to fund our operations for next season. Our 2nd largest tournament is set to kick off in 8 days and we are VERY short of help with the event and NEED YOUR HELP!
We have set up DIBs volunteer slots for live scoring games - you sit in the penalty box and work along side the actual scorekeeper to enter stats into the website as the game occurs. Gets you close to the action and is very easy to do. We have MANY open spots still - please consider logging on to the DIBs tab of the AHU site and claim a few spots. You can score your own childs game if you like! Melissa will be training on how to live score tomorrow at the Gilbert rink beginning at 7:30 pm if you wish to check it out. Should take only 15 or so minutes to get the hang of it.
We also have a DIBs session set up to volunteer as a table volunteer along side the Tournament Managers.
All proceeds from tournaments are turned back into the club. Please consider providing a few hours volunteer time during the weekend. The more, the better... you might even like it! If you have any questions, please email us at info@arizonahockeyunion.com.
