Hello AHU Families:
In an effort to minimize community spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and to comply with guidelines set forth by the CDC restricting large gatherings of more than 10 people, we have made a difficult but a necessary decision to cancel the 2019-2020 Season Award Ceremony scheduled for April 19, 2020. We do not take this decision lightly, as the AHU Awards Ceremony is a significant event that celebrates not only our organization but the Players, Coaches, and Families who have contributed throughout the past season.
Even though we cannot host the ceremony as in previous years, we still feel it important in recognizing the teams and players. Accordingly, we will be announcing the recipients of our Coach nominations on our website for the following awards:
We will communicate with your team manager and coach on how we can best get the award recipients their trophies and the end of season gifts. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time of uncertainty and quickly changing guidance. We do hope that the situation stabilizes soon. We will look forward to seeing all the players at the AHU Skills Sessions once the rink reopens for business.
