With the recent incidents involving skate blade injuries and players needing immediate intervention, AHU has a great opportunity to offer a FREE training session on how to Stop the Bleed!  It is important that coaches and/or Team Managers from each team attend since getting the information and training into the hands of team leadership who will be in the best position to be a first responder if there is any need is most important.

Accordingly, please join your fellow AHU Coaches and Staff members for this life-saving opportunity.  We have engaged Critical Care Flight Paramedic Mike Pena in providing training on stopping severe bleeds.  Mike has 20+ experience in Emergency Medicine and has served in combat environments.  Mike also serves as a Special Agent for the U.S. Government.  Arrive in comfortable clothing.  There will be 1 hour of discussion followed by 1 hour of “hands-on” training (2 hours total).  Equipment will be provided.
