The Phoenix Knights of the WSHL are proud to present their first ever player identification camp to be held in Princeton, MN, at the Princeton Ice Arena.  The Knights are in search of players for the 2016-17 season, and what better place to look than the Minnesota region where some of the best home-grown talent exists in the country.

Head Coach / General Manager Mike Bowman is excited about the possibilities this may bring to the Phoenix Knights organization and the community of Gilbert. “We are looking forward to seeing the great talent on display from Minnesota and the surrounding states.  It’s definitely one of America’s hockey hotbeds, and we would love the opportunity to bring some of that talent to Phoenix for the next stage of their development.”

The camp is open to all players born in birth years 1996-99.  The camp kicks off with a goaltender clinic at 6:00 pm on Friday, followed by games at 7:00 and 8:30.  Saturday’s schedule includes two sessions, with games being held at 10:00 & 11:30 am, followed by a meet and greet with the coaches at 1:00.  The games will resume at 5:00 and 6:30 pm to conclude the camp.

The Phoenix Knights are proud members of the Junior, Tier-II Western States Hockey League, governed by the United Hockey Union and Amateur Athletic Union.

The cost of the camp is $125 for players and $75 for goalies to register, plus a $10 UHU insurance fee for the weekend.  All players will participate in 3 games.  The camp is currently limited to just 60 skaters and 8 goaltenders.
